LYLE D. KURTZ, MD, FACP

Dr. Kurtz is originally from Charleston, South Carolina. He received his Bachelor of Arts from Emory University, Atlanta, Georgia, and received his Doctorate of Medicine from Medical University of South Carolina, Charleston, South Carolina. Dr. Kurtz completed his residency at Los Angeles County-University of Southern California Medical Center, Los Angeles, California.

Dr. Kurtz is board-certified in Internal Medicine, and is licensed to practice medicine in the state of California. He currently serves as Attending Physician in the Department of Medicine at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Los Angeles, California. Furthermore, he frequently consults as an expert witness of medical-legal issues. Previously, Dr. Kurtz has served as Attending Physician, Internal Medicine/Hospitalist at Cedars-Sinai Medical Group, Clinical Instructor for the Department of Medicine at Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center, and Clinical Instructor for the Department of Medicine at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

Dr. Kurtz has served as a member of various hospital committees, including the Medical Executive Committee, the Department of Medicine Performance Improvement Committee and the Medical Staff Oversight Committee. Throughout his career, he has been a member of numerous societies, including the American College of Physicians, Los Angeles County Medial Association, and California Medical Association.
